Terms of Service

These terms govern the use of Rekord, a human resources management application provided by Amalgam Partners ("Amalgam Partners," "we," "us"). By creating an account or using Rekord, you agree to these terms.

Who can use Rekord

Rekord is provided to businesses ("Customers") for use by their own employees ("Users"). A Customer's administrator controls which Users may join its company account and what role each User has. You may only create an account if you are authorized by a Customer to do so.

Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for activity that occurs under your account. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Access data belonging to a company you are not a member of, or attempt to bypass access controls.
• Enter false information for the purpose of misrepresenting hours worked, expenses, or approvals.
• Use Rekord to store or transmit unlawful content, or interfere with the operation of the service.

Ownership of data

As between Rekord and a Customer, the Customer owns the data its Users enter into Rekord. We act as a processor of that data on the Customer's behalf, and we do not claim ownership of it.

Optional Google integration

Rekord's optional Google Sheets export feature is provided for a User's convenience. Once report data is exported to a Google Sheet, that copy is subject to Google's own terms and the User's own Google account settings, not this agreement.

Service availability

We aim to keep Rekord available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Rekord is provided "as is," without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Amalgam Partners will not be liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from use of Rekord.

Termination

A Customer's administrator may deactivate a User's account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access to Rekord for use that violates these terms.

Changes to these terms

If we make material changes to these terms, we will update the date at the top of this page.
